QuickTrim Privacy Policy

Effective August 25, 2026

QuickTrim is designed to process video locally on your Mac. The app does not create an account, display advertising, track you, or send your video, Final Cut Pro metadata, selections, usage allowance, or file information to the developer.

Files and media

QuickTrim accesses only files and folders you choose through macOS. Security-scoped bookmarks may be stored on your Mac so you can restore selected sources in a later launch. Processing, thumbnails, waveforms, selections, exports, and Final Cut Pro interchange remain local.

Purchases

Purchases are processed by Apple through StoreKit. QuickTrim receives only the verified entitlement state needed to unlock full access. Apple handles payment and account information under Apple's privacy policy.

Local preferences

QuickTrim stores settings, workspace restoration information, and free-allowance totals in local app preferences. This information is not uploaded by QuickTrim.

Support

If you contact support or open a public issue, the information you choose to provide is handled by the service you use for that communication. Never attach private source media to a public support issue.

Changes

This policy may be updated when QuickTrim's behavior changes. The effective date above identifies the current version.
